Myofascial Release Treatment for the Relief of Menstrual Pain and Other Inflammatory Disorders

Menstrual pains and other inflammatory disorders such as endometriosis cause a lot of problems for sufferers because they are often simply treated by medications or even surgeries which are unnecessary and expensive.  However, since the cause of the pains often go unremarked and not dealt with appropriately, women especially spend a lot of time, money, and energy in pills and surgeries to get rid of the pain when there is a simpler solution that, because it is alternative, is ignored.  These disorders can cause pain, tension, infections, constipation, diarrhea, incontinence, and hemorrhoids; all of which then require further medication and other things to fix.  The problem can be stopped at the source using myofascial release.  Myofascial release works very well for getting rid of inflammatory disorders, such as menstrual pains, so, especially if you’re a woman suffering from these disorders; it’s good to look into in order to avoid more drastic measures like a hysterectomy.  Many hysterectomies are entirely unnecessary and cause a lot of trauma and grief for the patient.

Myfascial release works because the tightening of the fascia causes inflammatory pains such as in menstrual pain and this causes pain not only in the immediate area, but also in places like the back and legs.  This kind of pain is very difficult to treat-most painkillers only half work and carry some side effects like drowsiness that can be detrimental to your day.  There is often little a doctor can do about inflammatory symptoms that isn’t expensive or overkill and myofascial release is usually overlooked.  However, it works very well because it relaxes the fascia and thus relaxes the muscles and tension which causes the pain.  For other inflammatory disorders, such as fibromyalgia, it too relaxes the fascia and thus puts an end to the pain and tension that comes along with these disorders.

Those living with inflammatory disorders often simply try to live with them or deal using things like Advil and Tylenol, but there’s no reason why you should have to live with periodic pain.  Myofascial release is a gentle, non-invasive form of therapy so even if it doesn’t work, you haven’t lost anything.  However, people who have used it have had nothing but good things to say about it.  The release from a pain that has been long lived with is intoxicating and will completely revitalize you.  If you have an inflammatory disorder, set aside the painkilling pills and try a gentle therapy instead.
